Ryan and Joni

Last weekend was a reunion of sorts. A few years ago, Joni was a bridesmaid in Brooke and Broc's wedding that I had the pleasure of photographing. Fast forward to the present, with Joni the bride and Brooke the matron of honor. What a privilege for me to work with such awesome people twice! We started with some photos at the Cathedral of Learning before heading to Phipps Conservatory for the ceremony and reception.

I must admit, it's the first time I'd ever seen paper/rock/scissors done during the ceremony...by the BRIDE and GROOM! Not to worry though, it was only to determine who was to read their hand-written vows first (which were very sweet and totally spot on!).

And of course, as a couple well matched for each other...they tied. And tied again. And tied again. I lost track of how many times they tied until Joni just told Ryan to go first. Get used to that Ryan! ;-)
