Bethany and Anthony - Sneak Peek

Merry Christmas! I hope your holiday season is enjoyed with family and friends...it's my favorite time of the year!

In early December, Bethany and Anthony were married in an intimate ceremony among family and close friends. It's worth mentioning that the planning was accomplished in just 3 weeks! Everything looked great, and went without a hitch! It was such a pleasure to share in the wedding celebration, here's a quick peek from the day.

McGowan Family

Kathy and I have worked together for more than 7 years (clarification: at my full-time job, Kathy doesn't work for me...yet!), and I have had the opportunity to meet bits and pieces of her family along the way. Never had the chance to get them all together under the same roof...until now! We had a great time updating the family photos (including their mastiff mix Zoey), and just enjoying the crew all together for the night.

Balkey Family

Molly and my wife grew up together in Canton, OH. After the college years passed, they found each other again, a little further from home this time. Molly and Mike have two adorable little boys, Josh and Jack. You're catching the theme here...aren't you?

After a little walk to our location on a brisk Sunday morning...the sun came out and gave us some beautiful weather to get some family photos. I had a great time catching up with their family, and spending the morning on the trail!

Brittany and Ryan

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Brittany and Ryan for some engagement photos in downtown Pittsburgh. They love how beautiful the city is (who could disagree?), and even though a fall chill had come through...I couldn't have asked for a better evening. Brittany and Ryan know how to have a good time, and their affection for each other is easy to see!

Peterswood Park Shoot

Our son has been a part of Kids Kingdom in Peters Township for almost as long as the doors opened. I couldn't begin to give enough praise for the amazing group that works there. The owner, Jen has made everyone feel like they are part of her family...and this past Sunday I got to share a delightful morning with her family to get some casual portraits at the park.

Canon Mac - Kickin' Cancer

On a very frigid Thursday evening, Canon Mac Boy's Soccer held it's annual "Kickin Cancer" event to raise awareness as well as collect donations for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Fans did show their support for the event...displaying pink clothing and ribbons (among their many layers needed to keep warm!), and the Varsity boys gave a good performance leading to a 4 - 1 victory...all while showing their support with pink t-shirts, jerseys, socks, and even the game ball!

Jeff and Moira

Back to Cleveland!

Not even 1 week after celebrating Connor and Jackie's wedding day in Cleveland, we headed back to join Jeff and Moira for their wedding held at the House of Blues! If you really want your party to rock, Studio C Entertainment can provide everything to keep the "house" rocking as it did that night!

A few pics from the evening in the House of Blues...

Reflection - Walking with Grandpa

Was looking through some old photos, when I came across this treasured moment of our son enjoying a walk with Grandpa. The quote fell into place rather easily...

Nothing amazing to look at. No great spectacle to discover. Yet, no place either one would rather be.

Flying Monkey 5k

August 18th, 2012 marked the first annual Flying Monkey 5k race, an event presented by the Scott A. Garet Memorial foundation. This race is dedicated to the memory of Scott Garet and to help raise awareness for the lung cancer that unexpectedly took his life. You can read more about the race and about Scott at www.flyingmonkey5k.com

It was a wonderful day not only to run, but also to enjoy the company with Scott's family and friends; joined with others who came to participate in the run and stayed to learn more about the impact Scott's life had on others.

Just a few pictures from the day...make sure to visit the website for additional photos!

A special thanks to Greg Cowger of Studio C Entertainment for the extra help covering the race!
