Senior Session - Morgan

Coaches talk frequently to their players about perseverance - continuing to do something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. While this lesson relates well in athletics, I'm not sure many would expect it to apply to a senior portrait session. Yet, that's exactly what we encountered this weekend. Rain, wind, more rain - yet she kept right on pushing through. All with a smile on her face.

I certainly enjoyed spending the day with her and the family. Her photo session brought her to Pittsburgh, but her determination will take her wherever she wants to go. And she's gonna knock it out of the park. Especially if it's a softball!

Here's a sneak peek of a few favorites from our session.

Senior Session - Cameron

Had the chance to spend some time Sunday with Cameron and his family (thanks for holding the softbox from blowing away - it was windy!) for his senior session. Fall weather can be tricky, but it turned out to a great fall day.  Here's a few of my favorites from our session...

Shazia and Corey

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Shazia and Corey as they are expecting their little girl Karter within the next few weeks. We had a great time exploring Peters Lake Park on an absolutely gorgeous evening. Should also give special mention to the fisherman who gave up his spot on the dock (without hesitation) so we could grab some photos there. I hope he ended up with a nice catch...I know we did!

Valerie and Cory

This weekend was the celebration of Valerie and Cory, who enjoyed the comforts and accommodations of the Embassy Suites by Hilton by the Pittsburgh International Airport. Complete with an indoor atrium, waterfall, and gazebo...a great place to celebrate the wedding day! Here's a sneak peek of a few pictures from the day...

Haley and Steve

You know the old saying "opposites attract", but there's also times where you find someone who is so much the same that it's a perfect fit. Haley and Steve are one of those couples - warm and welcoming, you'll feel like you've known them forever from the first time you meet them. They are also enthusiasts of the outdoors - especially bow hunting (you'll see what I mean in the photos). Rain made a brief appearance, but cleared out for a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by a rustic barn reception.

I don't know what you were doing Saturday...but I can assure you that you weren't having a better time than we were!

Special thanks to Bonnie Sodini Photography for all the help!
