Jocelyn and Nick

Jocelyn and Nick's wedding day was filled a great deal of celebration...and a few surprises. For example, most couples use a fashionable knife when it comes to the cutting of the cake. As a Marine, Nick had a much better idea when it came time to cut the cake...both fashionable and efficient! Everyone had a great time as we enjoyed the party in honor of the new couple...here's a few peeks from the day! A special thanks to @matthawleyphoto for all the help throughout the day!

We had a great time, Congratulations Jocelyn and Nick!

Eimile and Alex

I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Eimile and Alex as they became husband and wife. After the ceremony, we headed to Mt. Washington to grab some photos with the Pittsburgh skyline as the backdrop. An added bonus, Eimile surprised Alex by having their first dance as a married couple right there on the overlook. I don't think many couples can share that distinction! Rain (it is Pittsburgh, after all) shortened our time at the overlook, but not before we were able to walk away with some great shots! Here's a small preview from the day...

Congratulations you two, thanks for having us!

Senior Session - Morgan

Coaches talk frequently to their players about perseverance - continuing to do something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. While this lesson relates well in athletics, I'm not sure many would expect it to apply to a senior portrait session. Yet, that's exactly what we encountered this weekend. Rain, wind, more rain - yet she kept right on pushing through. All with a smile on her face.

I certainly enjoyed spending the day with her and the family. Her photo session brought her to Pittsburgh, but her determination will take her wherever she wants to go. And she's gonna knock it out of the park. Especially if it's a softball!

Here's a sneak peek of a few favorites from our session.
