Michael - Canon McMillan Senior - Sneak Peek

If Michael looks vaguely familiar, it's because he is. Sorta. I did an engagement session for his sister, Selena earlier this year. Just like his sister, Michael is completely comfortable in front of the camera, shooting him was effortless. He's quite talented as well (you'll see what I mean from one photo in particular) and I'm excited to what the future holds for him. Just a little warning to the future...WATCH OUT! This guy is going to bring it! Here's a few of my favorites from our shoot!

Orlosky Family Sneak Peek

Anyone who's lived in Pittsburgh for more than 2 or 3 months knows that it rains here. A lot. Which can really "dampen" the prospects of an outdoor photo session. Lucky for me...rain came before our shoot, and not during...giving me the chance to hang out with this adorable family right in their backyard. A few looks from our only slightly damp session.

Jessica and Jon - Engagement Sneak Peek

Meet Jessica and Jon. Study partners that soon became "steady" partners. No, really. Both chemistry majors at Duquesne that met and began their relationship as a study pair, eventually realizing how much "chemistry" they had. Sorry...couldn't resist. We met at Duquesne on a chilly evening to get some photos around campus, and then they added their Penguins jerseys...completely appropriate as the playoff game was going on right across the street.

Selina and Seth - Engagement Sneak Peek

Selina and Seth found me from a referral (Thanks Sam!) to not only photograph their wedding, but also to do an engagement session...taking advantage of the recent warming weather. Also found out we're practically neighbors. Like...next road up from the house...neighbors. I typically can't find a spot a Giant Eagle this close.

A potentially rainy evening held off and gave us a great night, allowing these two to really warm up to each other and nearly forget I was even there.

Schoedel Family

Watching your children grow is a part of parenting that is sometimes not fully appreciated until it's too late. The busy schedules we find ourselves trying to juggle, it can hit you unexpectedly...our last family picture was how many years ago???

I had the privilege of doing photos for the Schoedel family a year ago, and we took advantage of a "not-too-chilly-for-what's-supposed-to-be-spring" evening to update the family shots. Here's a sneak peek of a few of my favorites...

2013 North Strabane Easter Egg Hunt

This past Saturday, North Strabane Township Parks and Recreation held it's annual Easter egg hunt. And although the spring season is here, the weather wasn't cooperating for an outdoor event. Plan B brought the activities indoors...and while there wasn't a search for eggs, the children did enjoy "hunting" for a prize to take home with them. Eats and treats, and a visit from the Easter Bunny made for a great time for everyone...have a quick look!
