Holidays often give an opportunity to indulge in one of mankind's greatest delights. Right now, my father would be thinking "pie". But once he had a piece and had a few more moments to dwell...he would say "family".
Family is one of the most powerful influences in anyone's life. It was such an influence in this family, that one of their own authored the quote that accompanies one of their photos. As great an example of a "Reflection" as there can be...words that speak directly and powerfully to the subject of the photograph.
The words say " You are my strength, Please guide me as I go, You are the greatest joys, I will ever know, I promise to love you til eternity, You are my forever, my family".
What an awesome tribute to those who have made such an impact on your life! Nice job Kelsey!

My favorite subject
Today presented an opportunity to have a little "photo time" with my favorite subject...my son, Jaxon.
He tops my list of favorite people to shoot not because he's especially cooperative (although I did manage to get a few while chasing him around), or because he even loves the camera (he's practically nailed the "turn and run" when he sees a camera out)...he's just adorable.
Is my opinion bias? Absolutely.

Afternoon on the lake...er...River
Last weekend I got an invite to head out to the Monongahela for some water action. Seeing as I have little experience doing anything outside of the boat...and that the water was FREEZING, I let the guys with some experience do their thing.
As you can see....they didn't disappoint!
*Editors note* - Thanks Catie for reminding me that the Monongahela is a river and not a lake!

Brent and Corrina
Spent the weekend not only celebrating the heroes that serve our country, but also celebrating the joining of two lives together. A few looks at the weekend...

Broc and Brooke
A sneak peek of a few photos from Brooke and Broc's intimate celebration. Couldn't keep the rain away, but it wouldn't dampen their spirits!
